True Grit Business Sponsorship
The 2019/2020 School year is going to include exciting expansions and events that have not been part of the curriculum in over ten years! The marching band is going to two competitions and SHS Music Department is going to kick off a Marching Band Invitational event called SHS – Salad Bowl Showcase. All of the high school bands in Monterey County are being invited to participate on Saturday, October 19,
2019. The Salad Bowl Showcase is slated to be an annual event.
Donations to these events will go toward purchasing equipment, instruments and uniforms. Salinas High School has had the same uniforms for twenty years.
In order for these events to provide our students with excellence in their music education, the department needs parent and community support.
